Abstract

Abstract

In this study we shall examine, within the hybrid framework of a conceptual history of politics and discourse analysis, a medium-range analytical category named “discursive matrix”, understood as an analytical perspective enable to explain the contingency of historical processes. To this purpose, we have selected the concept of people, so that we can expose in operative terms what the assumptions covering the aforementioned idea of discursive matrix are.

  • Javier  Tobares, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba

    Javier Tobares is graduated in History (2006) in the National University of Córdoba, Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities, School of History (Argentina). He has a Master in Political Parties (2016) from this university (Center for Advanced Studies), and a PhD from this university too. He has published, among other studies, Deus ex sufragii. La construcción del pueblo en el discurso oligárquico. Córdoba, Argentina. 1890-1912 (VDM Verlag, 2017) y Encrucijada: La construcción del concepto pueblo en la obra de Leopoldo Lugones. 1910-1932 (2021).
