Abstract

Recent studies demonstrate the effectiveness of computer vision for visual prosthetics. A VR prosthetic vision simulator with a temporal model and real-time capture is presented. Its effectiveness in object search and detection tasks is evaluated, analyzing the impact of the field of view and the temporal model.
